About Founder

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Liberian Inclusion and Literacy Foundation (LILF)

Charles D. Lamadine is a visionary leader, author, and humanitarian whose life’s work bridges literature, faith, and social transformation. As Founder and CEO of the Liberian Inclusion and Literacy Foundation, he stands at the forefront of a mission to empower communities through education, inclusion, and sustainable development.

A proud alumnus of the Booker Washington Institute in Kakata, Margibi County, where he studied Agriculture.  Charles’s foundation in community development and self-reliance began early. His passion for inclusion led him to study Sign Language in Guinea and later American Sign Language at Vancouver Community College in Vancouver, Canada—expanding his ability to connect with and advocate for people of all abilities.

Driven by compassion and purpose, Charles channels his creativity and life experiences into meaningful action—transforming words into works. Through his literary enterprise, he merges storytelling with service, ensuring that every book sold becomes a seed of hope for children, teachers, and families across Liberia. His leadership is marked by humility, faith, and a relentless belief that education is the key to freedom.

A man of vision and heart, Charles embodies the spirit of rebuilding with integrity—turning personal trials into collective triumphs. Under his guidance, LILF continues to grow as a beacon of opportunity, inspiring a new generation to learn, dream, and rise.
